老巴剎建於1894年，是東南亞現存最大的維多利亞時期的鑄鐵建築。位於新加坡商業區中心的老巴剎最初是菜市場，現已改建為飲食中心，提供各種經濟實惠的本地食品，是備受歡迎的飲食聚會場所。
