吼山風景區

吼山實際形成原理同東湖一樣，均為歷史上人們採石遺留而成的景觀。它又名狗山，在中國的春秋戰國時，越王勾踐曾在此養狗獵白鹿以獻吳王。狗字紹興方言與吼相近，直呼狗音屬不雅，時間久了也就成了吼山。吼山景區之內有很多狀物岩石， 主要景觀有煙蘿洞、剩水宕、雲石和棋磐石等，另有越文化陳列館、覽勝亭、壽寧寺等建築，其中雲石和棋磐石是吼山的標誌性景觀。位置：吼山位於紹興古城東十二公里，地處越城區皋埠鎮範圍之內。
